RONGLE manufacture an extensive range of Pulsation Dampers to suit wide ranging industrial applications. The AR range of charging kits are essential tools for the operation & maintenance of Pulsation Dampers. Kits are supplied with the correct manometer to suit the Nitrogen pre-charge pressures required for process. The kits can be utilised for either initial pre-charge or observation/reduction of existing pre-charge.

Instructions For Use

A.Observation/Reduction of Nitrogen pressure

• Ensure there is no residual pressure in the process pipeline.

• Unscrew the accumulator valve completely Anti-Clockwise.

• Attach the entire charging unit to the Damper, by screwing onto the Damper pre-charge valve.

• Unscrew the Nitrogen discharge valve, located on the rear of the charging unit, fully Anti-Clockwise.

• Commence clockwise adjustment of the accumulator valve until the existing Damper pre-charge pressure is indicated on the manometer. If the accumulator valve has been turn fully clockwise and no pressure is shown on the manometer, then the Damper is fully discharged.

• If existing pre-charge pressure requires reducing, then commence clockwise adjustment of the Nitrogen Discharge Valve slowly until the desired pressure is attained.

• Once required pressure is attained, fully unscrew the accumulator valve anti-clockwise. Adjust the Nitrogen Discharge Valve fully clockwise to eliminate any residual pressure in the charging unit.

• Remove the charging unit from the Damper Valve.

B.Initial Pre-Charge of Nitrogen

• Ensure there is no residual pressure in the process pipeline.

• Attach the flexible hose to Charging unit & Nitrogen bottle.

• Adjust Nitrogen bottle regulator to provide a regulated output pressure, just above the pre-charge pressure required for the damper. This will ensure the Damper is not accidentally over-charged and possibly damaged.

• Repeat steps for Observation/Reduction above to attach charging unit to Damper to confirm Damper is fully discharged.

• Slowly open Nitrogen bottle valve and bring Damper upto required pre-charge pressure.

• Damper Pre-Charge pressure should be checked every 6 months
